Often a silver charm bracelet and a silver charm collection come to symbolize an ongoing romance between a couple. Much more versatile that rings, a silver charm can be added to the bracelet every special event or anniversary and continue to build on the beauty of the silver charm collection.
While rings are beautiful and meaningful, there is an obvious drawback to continuing to give rings as gifts. After all, there are only so many rings that anyone can wear. On the other hand, silver charm collections look better the more charms that you have, meaning that the collection only becomes more complete with each addition.

Jewelry, or Jewellery, has always enjoyed a big role in history, so much so that certain Jewels have become symbols of certain countries. Take the Crown Jewels, for example. These pieces of Jewelry have represented their respective nations for centuries. They were worn by the kings and queens who used to rule the country and are passed along as heirlooms to the descendants. These pieces of jewelry are laden with so much history that they rightly deserve their place.
Of course, being worth a large fortune may be a contributing factor too. But Jewelry does not have to be worth a fortune for it to be called as such.

The majestic beauty of the diamond is known to everyone. All people want diamonds, due to its innate elegance and attractive beauty. Diamonds are very uncommon and can be very costly as it consumes a lot of time to be processed. Its quality and antiquity is unmatchable.
In Mohs scale of mineral hardness, the diamond scores a perfect 10, means it is very resistant to scratches. It is the hardest natural material known. It can even cut through glass. Its existence is also very old. Diamonds are as young as 1 billion years old and can be as old as more than 3 billion years old! This is what makes diamonds very precious, antiquity and quality. It also has various colors to choose from, the most common translucent crystal one, up to violet and pink. A diamond is a very precious gem indeed.

In 1477, Archduke Maximilian of Austria presented a diamond ring to Mary of Burgundy. The couple was wed within 24 hours, and this has been labeled as the first recorded account of the engagement ring.
